I don't have to when using Chrome, but if I use my phone or iPad I have to login each time, but then they're set to private browsing anyway.

If you use private browsing, you'll definitely need to log in each time.

He replied to me this morning saying that he is having some success with the server and he has managed to get the old stuff off it something something something...

Did you tell Chrome to remember your password ?

Chrome/Safari/LastPass etc remembers my password. It's just I have to login every time I come back after closing the tab. Wasn't like that with CTFRIP

Oddly enough, it now doesn't remember me.
Happened after I did a cleanup on my pc. Not surprising the first time if cookies were deleted, but won't remember me any more

No idea. I have messaged him a couple of times to find out if he's OK but he hasn't replied. It's by no means the first time that he's dropped out of communication so I've just left him to it and assumed he'd get in touch if he ever fixes CTF/decides it's a non-runner.
